Tinubu began his political career in 1992 when he was elected to the Nigerian Senate representing Lagos West Constituency. He served in the Senate until 1993 when the military government of General Sani Abacha dissolved all political offices in the country.

In 1999, Tinubu was elected as the Governor of Lagos State under the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) political party. Latest Schedule for the 2023 MotoGP Team Launch, Repsol Honda Announces the Marquez Cs Combat Fleet in Madrid

Update on the 2023 MotoGP team launching schedule where Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) makes a few changes.

The Repsol Honda Team has advanced their MotoGP 2023 team launch schedule to Wednesday (22/2/2023).

Previously, the Japanese manufacturer fronted by Marc Marquez and Joan Mir planned to hold a presentation session for the 2023 MotoGP team on Saturday (25/2/2023).

Unfortunately fans of Marc Marquez and Joan Mir Indonesia could not witness the Repsol Honda team showing off the new livery for the RC213V in Jakarta, like what Yamaha did some time ago.

The hopes of the Indonesian GP mania to witness a team with the single wing logo flapping to launch the MotoGP 2023 team in Indonesia have certainly run aground.

Through its official social media, HRC announced that the presentation of their new fleet to welcome the 2023 MotoGP world championship will take place in Madrid, Spain.

Not without reason why Honda chose Spain as the location of its team introduction.  Honda launched the team at the headquarters of its sponsor, namely Repsol Campus, Madrid.

This news is clearly not encouraging for loyal Honda supporters, especially Marc Marquez.  The reason is that it has been a long time since this Japanese factory team introduced the MotoGP team in Jakarta.

Considering that Indonesia is Honda's biggest market plus connoisseurs of MotoGP racing.

After Repsol Honda on 22 February 2023, there will be the launch of the Gasgas Tech3 team on 4 March 2023, then LCR Honda which will take place on 7 March 2023.

Aprilia Racing will also launch teams and drivers on 10 March 2023, followed by the RNF satellite team on 16 March 2023.

The VR46 Racing Team has yet to announce a launch date.  So far, only Valentino Rossi's team has not decided when to launch it.

To note, as of early February 2023, several teams have launched racers and motorcycles for MotoGP 2023, namely Monster Energy Yamaha, Gresini Racing, Ducati Lenovo, Pramac Racing, and finally Red Bull KTM.These teams showed quite interesting livery changes, including Yamaha.  The YZR-M1 carries the Camo title, aka military-style camouflage.

She stated this in an interview with Saturday Beats while cautioning poor men to stay clear of her because she has no business with them.

Nazo came under fire recently after she took to her Instagram page to declare that she has no business with a man who is not wealthy.

The backlash that trailed the pretty thespian’s statement on social media forced her to delete the post from her page.

However, speaking on the matter again, Nazo Ekezie reiterated her position and noted that she is not looking for a man she can build or invest in.

The actress said that though she is not one who is qualified to give relationship advice, her IG post was meant to entertain netizens but they took it another way then judged her and accused her of being a gold digger.

The screen diva further said that her primary concern is being able to take care of herself and wanting her fellow women to do same for themselves.

Nazo explained that she has no energy for dealing with men, especially the poor ones, which is why she prefers they stay away from her.

In her words; “I don’t understand how I made a ‘happy’ post, and people turned it to a ‘bad’ post. Since then, I have got a lot of ‘nonsense’ messages, especially from poor men.

If you are a poor man, I don’t have any business with you. I am not looking for a man I am going to build. I don’t have the energy for that. I will rather build myself. Whenever I write anything motivational, I am talking about myself.”

In other news, Nigerian kid comedian and content creator, Kiriku, whose real name is Victory Enorense, has revealed why he bought a new car for his father.

He said his dad’s car was old and always giving him issues so he discussed with his uncle, Umbrella Boy and they decided to change it for him.

According to Kiriku, when they were still up and coming in the online content creation industry, they both agreed to buy a car for his father once they start making money.

For the skit-maker, getting a new car for his dad was him fulfilling a promise he made to himself.

Kiriku, popularly known for his slang, ‘Abeg shift’, made the revelation during an interview as he talked about his personal life and future plans.

Kiriku said; “His car was no longer good, and we decided to buy a new one for him. We did that because the old car was giving him issues. Me and my uncle decided that immediately we started making money, we would get him (my dad) a car.”

He further talked about his early interest in comedy and how Emmanuella motivated him to become a skit-maker when he was four years old.

According to the preteen, he struggled to memorise his lines when he was just starting, so his uncle made him realise that he cannot master it all at once.

But that is now a thing of the past because Umbrella Boy taught him how to learn his lines and with time he became good at it.

Basketmouth shot the best comedy skit of the year, it is a shame it did get the needed attention [Watch]

Nigeria is in a mess, we can all agree to that fact. It is said that the solution to any problem is not far off when the cause of the problem is known but however in Nigeria, the better we understand our problem the more difficult it becomes to solve.

Veteran Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth might have made the best comedy video of the year, it is just quite a shame that it didn’t garner the expected attention on the social media space.

With the Nigeria’s presidential election coming up in February 2023, Basketmouth in a well written and produced 6:33 minutes comedy skit titled, The Navigator, highlighted the problem with Nigeria in the aspect of leadership and it is just incredible.

The story is made up of objects and characters representing the different parts of active participants in the creation of Nigeria’s problems. These are:

A Bus: This represents Nigeria as a country.

Agberos/Touts: The agberoes and touts loading the bus represent the politicians and thugs used during elections.

The Passengers: The passengers represent the Nigerian masses.

A Blind Driver: A blind driver which represents the president deployed to drive the bus.

This short video clearly describes the situation of Nigeria. The passengers willingly boarded a bus to be driven by a blind man and expect to get to their destinations. Nigerians know well that some of the presidential aspirants they are pushing to become the driver of the country are not fit to drive the country to its destination but yet are still showing support for them because of tribal, religious or party affiliation. In fact some of these aspirants shouldn’t be running in the first place if Nigeria is a place where things are done rightly but as we all know, affluence and influence are all it takes to run for a political office in Nigeria.

Nigerians know the problem of Nigeria. It would be correct to say that the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians and it won’t be solve anytime soon because we are too diverse to agree.

The world wrongly thinks Nigeria owns Afrobeats – Ghanaian singer, Stonebwoy

Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has said that Nigeria did not originate neither do they own the music genre known as Afrobeats.
