From Marques Bolden to Derick, Doubtful to Appear in SEA Games in Cambodia, Perbasi Will Naturalize Players

The preventive steps were taken by the Central Board of the Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) ahead of the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia.

Welcoming the biennial event in Southeast Asia, Perbasi proposed players to be naturalized in order to strengthen the red and white team.

This decision was taken because three key players from the Indonesian Basketball National Team, Marques Bolden, Derrick Michael, and Agassi Goantara were doubtful about appearing.

In the plan withdrawn by Perbasi, it is clear that it is intended to defend the gold medal from the men's 5x5 basketball at the last SEA Games.

"The plan is to (naturalize new players) because (Marques) Bolden may not be able to participate. So is Derrick (Michael), a possibility too," said Wahyu.

"That's why we are looking for options. Then Agassi (Goantara) also depends on the school," he continued.

Apart from naturalization, Perbasi will also monitor several players who still have Indonesian blood, who also hold homeland passports.

Latest Schedule for the 2023 MotoGP Team Launch, Repsol Honda Announces the Marquez Cs Combat Fleet in Madrid

Update on the 2023 MotoGP team launching schedule where Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) makes a few changes.

The Repsol Honda Team has advanced their MotoGP 2023 team launch schedule to Wednesday (22/2/2023).

Previously, the Japanese manufacturer fronted by Marc Marquez and Joan Mir planned to hold a presentation session for the 2023 MotoGP team on Saturday (25/2/2023).

Unfortunately fans of Marc Marquez and Joan Mir Indonesia could not witness the Repsol Honda team showing off the new livery for the RC213V in Jakarta, like what Yamaha did some time ago.

The hopes of the Indonesian GP mania to witness a team with the single wing logo flapping to launch the MotoGP 2023 team in Indonesia have certainly run aground.

Through its official social media, HRC announced that the presentation of their new fleet to welcome the 2023 MotoGP world championship will take place in Madrid, Spain.

Not without reason why Honda chose Spain as the location of its team introduction.  Honda launched the team at the headquarters of its sponsor, namely Repsol Campus, Madrid.

This news is clearly not encouraging for loyal Honda supporters, especially Marc Marquez.  The reason is that it has been a long time since this Japanese factory team introduced the MotoGP team in Jakarta.

Considering that Indonesia is Honda's biggest market plus connoisseurs of MotoGP racing.

After Repsol Honda on 22 February 2023, there will be the launch of the Gasgas Tech3 team on 4 March 2023, then LCR Honda which will take place on 7 March 2023.

Aprilia Racing will also launch teams and drivers on 10 March 2023, followed by the RNF satellite team on 16 March 2023.

The VR46 Racing Team has yet to announce a launch date.  So far, only Valentino Rossi's team has not decided when to launch it.

To note, as of early February 2023, several teams have launched racers and motorcycles for MotoGP 2023, namely Monster Energy Yamaha, Gresini Racing, Ducati Lenovo, Pramac Racing, and finally Red Bull KTM.These teams showed quite interesting livery changes, including Yamaha.  The YZR-M1 carries the Camo title, aka military-style camouflage.

This certainty was obtained after An Se-young defeated Carolina Marin (Spain) in the final of the Indonesia Masters 2023, Sunday (29/1/2023) afternoon WIB.

Taking place at Istora Senayan, An Se-young defeated Carolina Marin with a score of 18-21, 21-18 and 21-13.

The success in locking in the 2023 Indonesia Masters title seemed to reinforce An Se-young's dream start in undergoing the BWF World Tour 2023 series earlier this year.

As is known, An Se-young has been able to perform consistently since the BWF World Tour 2023 series started.

Before winning the Indonesia Masters 2023, An Se-young was able to reach the final in two consecutive tournaments.

The two tournaments are the finals of the 2023 Malaysia Open and the 2023 India Open.

At the 2023 Malaysia Open, An Se-young really had to give up his dream of becoming the main champion in the level 1000 series tournament.

An Se-young lost to Akane Yamaguchi in the title fight in the 2023 Malaysia Open final.

Through playing a rubber game, An Se-young surrendered to Akane with a score of 12-21, 21-19, 21-11 in 69 minutes.

After the defeat, An Se-young seems to have an unyielding spirit.

Evidently, An Se-young has successfully advanced to the final in the women's singles sector at the 2023 India Open.

Luckily, the fate that An Se-young got felt better than the previous tournament in the neighboring country.

An Se-young managed to revanse against Akane Yamaguchi who had beaten her at the 2023 Malaysia Open
